Internet Skills for Parents Training

Internet Skills for Parents Training aims to give parents the confidence, motivation and skills to take their first steps online, and to provide information and practical supports including;

  • Internet Shopping
  • Everyday Transactions i.e. booking tickets, flights, concerts
  • Setting up parental controls on your browser, search engine (Google), device
  • Social Media, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram
  • Gaming & Live Streaming
  • Creating a Family Safety Plan for online use at home

Ballyhoura Development will be delivering Internet skills for parents training in your local community in small groups of between 8 and 10 people, over five 2-hour sessions, and is FREE.
