Healthcare Opportunities for Women

Ballyhoura Development, in partnership with South & East Cork Area Development-SECAD, are rolling out a Healthcare Training programme which includes a QQI Major Award in Healthcare.

This qualification will enable people to work in a care setting as a care assistant in a nursing home, hospital, as a carer in the community, or in people’s own home.

This programme is part time & flexible to suit existing commitments and, as well as accredited Healthcare Training, the programme will include One to One Coaching & Mentoring, Personal Development, IT Skills and CV interview skills.

It has a built-in work experience element that will give participants a hands on experience of working in the healthcare sector.

Ongoing mentoring & support throughout the programme will support women to complete and gain their accredited qualification.

Information sessions will be held in the following locations:

Tuesday September 26th – Millenium Centre, Caherconlish 10am to 11.30

Wednesday September 27th Kirby O’Sullivan Business Park, Bruff 10am to 11.30
