Ballyhoura International Men’s Day Event

International Men’s Day is celebrated annually on 19th November 2022. It is an opportunity for everyone to reflect on and celebrate the men in their lives and to consider the many positive contributions that men make to family, community, culture and society.

This year, Ballyhoura Development encourages everyone to #CelebrateMen on #IMD2022 through social media posts.

THE ASK?

We simply invite you to do the following:

1. Identify one man whose caring qualities you wish to celebrate.
2. Highlight two of his caring qualities to him and offer praise.
3. Nominate three of your male friends/family to come along and enjoy the day with Ballyhoura Development celebrating men’s quality attributes.

About The Event

The Ballyhoura Development International men's Day 2022 event will take place on the 19th November from 11am - 3pm at the Firgrove Hotel in Mitchelstown.

The guest speaker on the day is Dessie Fitzgerald, a motivational speaker and life coach. Dessie will be sharing some of his life experiences –sustaining a life-changing injury and his journey to gain resilience.

The day will also include:

• wellness workshops with Belinda Murphy and Dessie;
• demo on Manual Handling with Mike Ryan;
• lunch and refreshments.
