Mindfulness In Everyday Life As the impact of restrictions sets home for all of us, we feel out of control, anxious, and worried. Although we are often unaware of the current of our thinking, it has a profound effect on how we live our lives, as well as our mental and emotional health. At this time of uncertainty, it is so important to take time for ourselves. What's Involved? This 6-week Mindfulness course teaches us to direct our attention to what is happening right here, right now, with an attitude of kindness towards ourselves and our experiences. This course is aimed at anyone who is feeling stressed and anxious at this time. It will discuss the positive benefits of practising Mindfulness highlighted below: Relieving Stress. Treating Heart Disease. Lowering Blood Pressure. Reduce Chronic Pain. Improve Sleep. Support Good mental health. The course will discuss effective ways of Practicing mindfulness involving Breathing Methods, Guided Imagery, and other Practices to Relax the Body & Mind to aid in reducing stress.
