Support for individuals in the community to look after their wellbeing. Although we are often unaware of the current of our thinking, it has a profound effect on how we live our lives, as well as our mental and emotional health. 


What's Involved?

This is a FREE 5-week course commencing on Wednesday, 25th May for 5 weeks from 10:30am until 1pm delivered in-person at the Muintir na Tíre Hall, Murroe, Co. Limerick.

It will go through mindfulness and wellbeing and the importance of looking after oneself in the current climate. It aims to teach us to direct our attention to what is happening right here, right now, with an attitude of kindness towards ourselves and our experiences. This course is aimed at anyone who is feeling stressed and anxious at this time.

It will discuss the positive benefits of practicing Mindfulness highlighted below:

  • Relieving stress
  • Treating heart disease
  • Lowering blood pressure
  • Reduce chronic pain
  • Improve sleep
  • Support good mental health
