Supporting Parents – Responding to Children’s Anxieties The public health situation over the last 6 months has been very challenging for everyone. For families, with all the anxieties, uncertainties and upheavals, there have been additional demands on parents, challenges to usual routines and stretched coping skills. Limerick Social Health and Education project working with Healthy Limerick, Ballyhoura Development, Hospital Family Resource Centre and Croom Family Resource Centre has organised this online programme for the East Limerick area. What's involved? Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their children's anxieties due to Covid-19 and how they as a parent respond to this. Amongst other topics the course will explore: Supporting younger children with worries related to school and friends Exploring the ‘Good Enough Parent’ Communication and Listening Noticing and attending to Stress Supporting yourself to benefit your children This is a FREE course commencing from November 4th until December 16th every Wednesday from 10am to 12:30pm for 7 weeks.
