The Ballyhoura Science Fair is back with a BANG, whizzle and roar, and all are welcome!

Have a wild encounter with live snakes and reptiles from The Animal Roadshow and discover the wonderful creatures that we share the planet with.

Join RTÉ Junior’s Dale Treadwell for his dinosaur show and see the reptiles that used to roam the earth.

Fully immerse yourself with the 360* Dome Cinema visuals and surround sound as you are transported through time and space in an amazing experience that has to be seen to be believed.

Learn about engineering whilst building Lego with Bricks4Kidz or by seeing the 29th/30th Mitchelstown Scouts in action putting up tents and other structures.

Visit the Community Food Initiative folks to find out more about nutrition and sample some tasty and healthy snacks.

Come to the Energy Hub, to meet Ballyhoura Staff, who share will share their knowledge about how to reduce energy consumption in your home and tackle the rising cost of living. 

Cathal Nolan, a Climate Change researcher and CEO of Ireland's Weather Channel, will give an educational talk suitable for the whole family about his climate change research.

Alongside all of this, The Professor, Konor Halpin, will be doing messy science experiment shows throughout the day, where you’re guaranteed to get your hands dirty. 

Or, for the younger children - visit the Craft Corner and have fun with paper, glue and sparkles! The day will be jam-packed with workshops, shows, interactive experiences, and so much more fun and learning for all ages.
