Cappamore Women's Shed Ballyhoura Development is supporting the start up of a Women's Shed in Cappamore! This is for all women in the area and will provide an opportunity to make new friends and learn some skills in a relaxed and fun environment. Come along to Cappamore LCFE Campus on Thursday, 19th May at 7pm to see what it is all about. Bring a friend if you don't want to come alone. Everyone is welcome! A Women's Shed offers a safe place away from home or work where women of all life stages can try out activities in a friendly and welcoming environment. Taking part in lifelong learning and recreational activities contributes to building community connections. Women's Shed activities will be led by the members, they will focus on activities the members want to do together. Some activities will be led by a facilitator, others will be a gathering of women meeting to chat in a friendly environment. This new social group is for all women, no matter what age they are or what background they come from, and a safe place where women empower other women in non judgmental space.
