Free Healthcare Modules for Women Starting in January 2022 ‘More than just a Course’ – Healthcare Opportunities for Women breaks down barriers to education by focusing on your needs. Do you want to work in a flexible, dynamic environment? A qualification in Healthcare (QQI, level 5) can open the door to new employment opportunities, across a range of care environments, from acute hospital settings to residential and home care. Ballyhoura Development, in partnership with Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board provide accessible training opportunities towards employment through blended delivery across January and February. Individual modules can form part of a Major Award in Healthcare Support/Health Service Skills, QQI, level 5. This flexible, part-time programme is designed to support women, who are out of work, to upskill and find employment. What's Involved? Infection Prevention and Control and Care Skills/Care Support (integrated) will be delivered during January and February and are available for FREE*. This is a part-time programme, running two half-days per week, using a blended delivery approach (face-to-face and online). Work placement is required.
