Join us to learn more about the journey towards community-generated energy and income!

Community energy projects mean warmer, healthier homes and community buildings. They reduce energy bills, increase the quality of life, and help to protect the environment.

Join us online as we discuss the journey towards establishing community-generated energy and income for SEC communities!

What's involved?

The Sustainable Energy Communities mentor panel is delighted to share an open invitation to a one-hour webinar on community energy and income generation.

We will be joined by guest speaker Bill Kelly of Community Power. Community Power is a partnership of community energy groups working for a sustainable energy future for Ireland, and they have earned the title of being Ireland’s first community-owned electricity supplier.

This one-hour Zoom session will run on the 18th of May from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm and is open to everyone with an interest in sustainability and community energy.

It will be a jargon-free, step-by-step guide to the opportunities for communities to generate both their own electricity and their own income. No prior knowledge or experience is needed, and there will be plenty of opportunities for all your questions to be addressed, so be sure not to miss this event.
