Ballyhoura Development is working with Mid-West ARIES (Advancing Recovery in Ireland Education Service) to deliver a range of courses on recovery and well-being in Mental Health in the Ballyhoura area this Autumn.

Series of free 'Recovery Education' mental health & wellbeing workshops are taking place in the Millennium Centre, Caherconlish, Co. Limerick on the following dates this October:

1. Let’s Talk Resilience

In this workshop we will discuss our understanding of resilience and why it is important for our mental health and wellbeing. We will explore personal tools and strategies than can help to develop and support our resilience now and into the  future.

2. How Can I Find Meaning In My Life and Feel More Empowered 

In this workshop we will explore what gives us a sense of meaning and purpose in our lives. We will reflect on what empowerment means and explore our understanding and experience of empowerment and disempowerment in mental health. 

3. Managing Wellbeing & Mental Health Recovery 

During this work shop we explore different views on wellbeing and recovery in mental health. We discuss what and who can help with managing your wellbeing and mental health.  Includes a personal story of recovery.
