Ballyhoura Development is working with Mid-West ARIES (Advancing Recovery in Ireland Education Service) to deliver a range of courses on recovery and well-being in Mental Health in the Ballyhoura area this Autumn.

Series of free 'Recovery Education' mental health & wellbeing workshops are taking place in the Family Resource Centre in Hospital, Co. Limerick on the following dates this November:

1. Let’s Talk Depression

This workshop provides a space to discuss the impact of depression. We will explore practical tips that can be used when managing depression and reflect on the personal and individual nature of depression.

2. Exploring Anxiety

In this workshop we explore our understanding of anxiety. We discuss a range of topics including “what is anxiety”, “what causes anxiety?”  And “Is anxiety normal?”

3. Managing Anxiety

This second workshop in the series focuses on managing anxiety. We explore practical tips and tools that you can put into practice when anxiety strikes. In particular we will discuss who or what can help when managing anxiety.
