PR for your Business - Workshop Overview:

Day 1 (Wednesday 8th April) 10 am – 12 pm

Module 1: Finding and connecting with my customer

Exploring ways and opportunities on how to communicate with customers during the Coronavirus outbreak. Examples and ideas of how to stay relevant during the lockdown phase.

Module 2: My Story

It can prove challenging in times like this to get coverage for your business in local/national press or online. By creating a narrative that is of interest to editors, this challenge can turn into an opportunity. This module will look at what a story is and how to tell it.

Module 3: How to write my Story

Practical ways of telling a story within a press release and for online publishing.

Module 4: The Press List

Practical advice on how to send out a press release or Story to both traditional and digital publishers. How to find contacts, how to choose the outlet used, and how to pitch the press release.

Extra: Each participant will have the opportunity to book a 30 minute one-to-one consultation with the trainer on matters specific to their business.
