Making the Most of Your Business Presentations

Ballyhoura Development are delivering these two workshops presented by Tracy Aspel of the Creative Institute. This training is aimed at businesses wishing to target new markets and new customers online as we move into the reopening phase across business sectors.

Since March our lives and connections have reduced to the size of our home. We are connecting with our friends and clients via a computer screen. Some of us have had to adapt quickly to new mediums of contact we would never before have considered.

As the business world opens up in the coming weeks businesses need to be ahead of the competition. Old practices no longer remain. You will need to define or redefine your message. You are now confined to a screen and therefore that message needs to be clear and personable. What does my business do? How does it do it? How will my customer benefit from my product/service?

This training will also benefit you if you, your business or social enterprise is applying for funding or pitching for new customers or markets.

• The 90-second pitch – creating a clear, concise and compelling introduction to your business.
• The forces that govern communication: How we filter information.
• The importance of position: The “What’s in it for Me?” paradigm.
• Powerful body language – building awareness of posture and the hidden messages that our bodies communicate.
• Introduction to improve and divergent thinking practice.
• Using improve techniques to overcome objections from your audience.
• Trial Run of a 5-minute presentation followed by feedback
• Next steps on how to further improve each presentation.
