What is the Ballyhoura Development Mentoring Programme?

The Ballyhoura Development Mentoring Programme is designed to match up the knowledge, skills, insights and entrepreneurial capability of experienced business practitioners (Mentors) with small business owner/ managers and staff or board members/trustees of social enterprises (Mentees) who need practical and strategic one to one advice and guidance. The mentor analyses the business situation and contributes independent, informed observation and advice to aid decision making.

Who is eligible?

The Mentoring Programme is open to people and groups in the Ballyhoura Development area (east Limerick and north east Cork). As the services is provided through Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) 2018-2022, applicants must eligible for programme support, registered in advance with Ballyhoura Development, and should have already undertaken enterprise training or workshops as advised by your Development Officer.
