Kilmallock Community and Family support Project was established in 2010 to provide community and family support services to children and families living in Kilmallock and surrounding areas. The project works directly with children, parents and the general community by providing targeted Children and Youth Supports, parental education, top up parenting and sign posting for families in the community.

The objectives of the project are to:

  • Improve the wellbeing of children and families in the community
  • Support Parents in their parenting roles
  • Provide learning, developmental and recreational opportunities for children and young people.
  • Initiate, support and progress interventions focused on positive Mental & Physical health in the Community.
  • Support the community to take an active role in the planning for the development of their living environments, both physically and socially.
  • Support community members to access lifelong learning and employment supports and opportunities.
  • Support the development of a resilient community.
