Battview Matters is a Community and Family Support Project based in the Northside of Charleville, Co. Cork.

In the Autumn of 2022, a group of residents received support through the North Cork Rural Community Health Project.

As part of these supports, residents from the area participated in an 8-week community education programme focused on Horticulture, facilitated by Cork Education and Training Board.

The 8 week programme was completed with a visit to the Glen, Community Gardens in Cork which provided them with plenty inspiration for future projects.

Participants on the training programme were able to learn about supports provided through the North Cork Rural Health Project and the Battview Matters Community and Family Support Project.

The project is a collaboration between Ballyhoura Development, Respond, Cork County Council and Tusla.
