Enjoy a relaxing walk in nature listening to the birds, and discover why birds sing at dawn.

Local Ecologist, Albert Nolan, will help us to identify the birds and appreciate the complexity of the birdsong.

What's Involved:

Join Ballyhoura Development and local Ecologist, Albert Nolan, for an early morning walk leaving from the Ferry Bridge carpark in Castleconnell, to experience the Dawn Chorus.

During this walk and talk, we'll be identifying the different birds and the sounds they make, and you'll find out why the dawn chorus reaches its peak in May and June.

There will be lots of opportunities for questions and appreciating our surrounds, and we invite you to join us for a light breakfast afterwards.

When & Where:

This walk will start from the Ferry Bridge carpark in Castleconnell on Friday morning 7th June starting at 6am
