Enjoy a relaxing walk in nature listening to the birds, and discover why birds sing at dusk.

Local Ecologist, Albert Nolan, will help us to identify the birds and help us to appreciate the complexity of the birdsong.

What's Involved:

Join Ballyhoura Development and local Ecologist, Albert Nolan, for a late evening walk leaving from Coote Hall in Kilmallock, to experience the Dusk Chorus.

During the walk and talk, we'll be identifying the different birds and the sounds they make, and you'll find out why the dusk chorus reaches it’s peak in May and June. There will be lots of opportunities for questions and appreciating our surrounds.

When & Where:

This walk will start at Coote Hall Resource Centre, Deebert, Kilmallock on the evening of 29th May starting at 9pm.
