Summer Camps at Griston Bog

Calling all adventurous kids in the Ballyhoura region! Join us for an exciting summer camp experience at Griston Bog in Ballylanders, Co Limerick.

Who is it for?

Children aged 5 to 12 years old from various Ballyhoura Development services and different parts of the Ballyhoura region are welcome to join. Don't worry if you don't know everyone yet; this camp is the perfect opportunity to make new friends and have a blast together!

Our Venue: 

Our Venue is Griston Bog, Ballylanders, Co. Limerick, where children can experience a real feel for the great outdoors. It now boasts an impressive purpose outdoor classroom where teachers and classes can explore and learn about nature in unique and inspiring surroundings. 

Wildlife is very accessible and easily observed at Griston Bog!

Times & Dates:

The camps will run from 10am to 2pm on the following dates:

• 30th July – 2nd August 2024
• 6th August – 9^th August 2024

Cost: €90 per child

Transportation: Parents will need to arrange transportation to Griston Bog.

The camp theme revolves around exploring the incredible world of habitats and the fascinating creatures that call them home. At Griston Bog, you'll encounter a diverse range of flora, fauna, bees, insects, and water life. Some of these precious inhabitants face the threat of extinction worldwide. Together, let's learn about their life cycles and find ways to protect them.
