Volunteer Management, Retention & Recruitment for Community Groups A one-day workshop designed to support community members and groups in understanding how volunteers are coordinated on a day-to-day basis. During this one-day training, community groups will learn how to recruit, retain, and manage volunteers. The workshop is free and a great networking opportunity for community groups in Ballyhoura. Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day. What's involved? The workshop will conclude: The definition of volunteering; Volunteer recruitment, retention, and attraction; Volunteer succession planning; Understanding the motivations behind volunteering; Recognising the needs of both volunteers and community organizations; An understanding of the National Volunteer Strategy 2021-2025; An understanding of statutory requirements, including Garda vetting; The development and implementation of policies and procedures to support community volunteering.
