A message from the Staff at Ballyhoura Development's Afterschool Services:

Ballyhoura Development operates three Community Afterschool Services in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, Caherline, Co. Limerick and Caherconlish, Co. Limerick.

Currently, due to the Covid-19 situation, we are not open but that doesn’t mean we are not here to support all the children and families that use our service.

We really miss seeing all the children in our services but we are happy to know that they are keeping safe at home and practicing social distancing.

We look forward to welcoming all the children that use our service back when it is safe to do so but, until then, the photos below show some of the activities that children in our service are keeping busy with safe at home.

Children attending our services have been sending us some pictures of their social distancing adventures, some examples of their art work and letters that they wrote to staff in our afterschools.

Jake aged 11 and Ross aged 10 are brothers who attend the Caherline Service. During this time, they have decided to keep fit and explore their community. They have found some abandoned houses which has brought them back in history. What a brilliant way to keep busy. WELL DONE JAKE AND ROSS!!
