During the Easter break of 2022, the children of Battview Matters Homework Club went on a day trip to Stone Hall Wildlife Park in Co. Limerick.

The group was taken on a tour where they saw lamas, alpacas, ostriches, peacocks, and a variety of other unusual bird species. They went on a fairy trail walk, made some wishes on hopes for the future, and then relaxed with pizza and ice cream.

Battview Matters is a Community and Family Support Project based in Charleville, which seeks to work with the local community to enhance the quality of life of residents of Batt Donegan Place and Hillview Drive Estates.  The project is a collaboration between Ballyhoura Development, Cork County Council, Respond, and Tusla, the Child and Family Support Agency.
