Charleville Men's Shed recently took part in Art & Craft Workshops facilitated by Jacki Hehir, Development Officer, working on the North Cork Rural Community Health Project.

In these workshops the members tried their hand at Basket Weaving, Slate Painting and Candle Making. The slate painting included a look at the ancient scribe of Ohm which was once the origins of all written scriptures in Ireland.

These workshops provided an opportunity for the members of the Men’s shed to connect to the memories of their past as well as to find out about the supports offered in the community through the North Cork Rural Health project.

This project is supported by the North Cork Rural Community Health Project.
