Easter was filled with craft delights as the kids at Homework Club got hands-on in the kitchen!

During Easter Camp this year, children learned a recipe for homemade salt dough and sculpted Easter-themed dishes and designs. When the salt dough had hardened, they returned to paint it in bright Spring colours!

Health(ier) Easter chocolate baskets were also made in the kitchen, using Shredded Wheat to gain a realistic nest texture. After mixing the wheat with chocolate and letting it cool, the children then filled their nests with little chocolate eggs!

Everyone made plenty to share with family and friends.
