Ballyhoura Country Tidy Towns Awards 2022

Ballyhoura Development is delighted to announce that the Ballyhoura Country Tidy Towns Awards are going ahead for the first time since 2019.

The Ballyhoura Country Tidy Towns awards are a celebration of the achievements of the many Tidy Towns groups in Ballyhoura Country and are a great opportunity to reconnect with all of the volunteers who make the Tidy Towns Groups such a success. They are now in their 32nd year with over 35 entrants. Prizes will be awarded in three categories.

This year’s event will be kindly hosted by Kilmallock Tidy Towns and will be held in the Deebert House Hotel, Kilmallock on Thursday the 8th of September from 7pm.

As well as the presentation of awards and refreshments, there will be:

• a short talk by the overall winner of the 2021 competition - Ennis  Tidy Towns - on how Tidy Towns Groups can better promote their work and activities,
• a short overview of the sustainability features in the Deebert House Hotel, 
• a guided walk hosted by Kilmallock Tidy Towns showcasing Tidy Towns projects led by Kilmallock Tidy Towns group.

All Tidy Towns groups across Ballyhoura Country are welcome to attend!
