As children develop and grow rapidly, they need healthy food to give them the right amount of energy, protein and other nutrients. Eating the right amount of a variety of good foods can help children grow, learn and play well. It can also reduce their chances of developing heart disease, type 2 diabetes and cancer in later life.

Join us from the comfort of your own home for an educational webinar in which Stephanie McInerney and Aisling Lee from the University of Limerick (students on the Human Nutrition and Dietetics Masters programme) will teach us about healthy eating for children aged 1-4 years and talk about recommended serving sizes for this age group.

Topics covered will include:

  • Healthy eating guidelines for children aged 1-4 years.
  • Recommended serving sizes

This webinar is run as part of the Ballyhoura Development Community Food Initiative funded by Safefood which aims to positively influence the eating habits of families.
