This workshop is geared towards job seekers to provide assistance with all aspects of job hunting from preparing a professional CV to job searching effectively online. 

Being unemployed can take its toll mentally, especially in the middle of a lockdown it can be easy to lack motivation and initiative.

As well as people's careers and livelihood, the current economic situation has had a significant impact also on people's well-being, financial security, and mental/physical health. 

This program will also include short talks on Money Management & Budgeting from MABS (Money Advice & Budgeting Service), Self Care and Minding your Mental Health Talk. 


This Programme will run over 5 mornings, from 11:15 am - 12:30 pm each morning starting on 23rd of May and ending on 27th of May.

Topics covered include:

  • Revamping of your CV.
  • Preparing a Cover Letter.
  • Tips & advice on interviews - both virtual interviews and in-person interviews.
  • Job searching effectively on-line.
  • Budgeting & Money Management tips.
  • Self Care / Minding your Mental Health.

What is the Outcome?

Participants in this course will have a revised and updated CV (it can be typed out for clients if necessary), they will be more aware of their own individual strengths, abilities, and transferable skills, they will learn how to write a Cover Letter and get advice on preparing for an upcoming interview.

Who is it for?

The programme is for all job seekers whose career, business, or livelihood has been affected in any way by the turmoil of the last 12 months.
