‘More than just a Course’ – Healthcare Opportunities for Women breaks down barriers to education by focusing on your needs.

Healthcare Opportunities for Women provides individualised supports and training to give women the skills and confidence to return to work. In a novel, two-step approach, the programme incorporates Personal Development with Accredited Training.

You will have the opportunity to complete 9 Healthcare modules (QQI, level 5) as well as practical training for the work setting. Whether you need to improve your digital skills, confidence or job-seeking skills your needs will be met.

Don’t have access to computer equipment? We can link you to our Laptop Loan Scheme* to ensure you can continue with us in periods of lockdown.

Ongoing, intensive one-to-one and group supports will help you prepare for accredited training and ultimately the final goal, employment.

Check out ‘A Year in the Life of Healthcare Opportunities’ below which provides a powerful snapshot of what the programme offers.

Starting in April, the programme will run in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick and/or online, dependent on government guidelines.

The programme is delivered over two, half days per week (from 10:00am – 2:00pm) in line with the Primary school calendar, to suit those with childcare commitments.

We will help you prepare for online delivery with our dedicated digital skills programme.

Our participants have shared their stories of how the programme has helped them to date.
