Ballyhoura Development welcomes publication of the Government Action Plan to Support the Community Response to COVID-19.

Many communities and community groups and organisations are in need of volunteers to help vulnerable and/or socially isolated community members during this time, and this Plan provides a robust framework to support volunteering initiatives already in existence, as well as providing resources to support newly identified needs.

Ballyhoura Development is pleased to support the call for more voluntary engagement, particularly at the present time, and hosts a section on this website where calls for Volunteers can be published online.
