The launch of Ballyhoura Development's 'Stop, Look and Listen: Preserving the Biodiversity of Ballyhoura’ project was very successful, with over 50 people from communities in the Ballyhoura Catchment area.

This exciting new project will use study circles, field trips and the creative arts to explore local biodiversity.

Attendees were delighted to meet Éanna Ní Lamhna and learn about the threats to Irelands' biodiversity and the positive actions that they can take to improve, protect, promote and preserve biodiversity in their own communities.

The people who are taking part in this innovative new program will spend the next 10 months attending study circles, workshops and using the creative arts to explore biodiversity.
