Ballyhoura Development works in partnership with a range of statutory, voluntary and community organisations to deliver community, economic and environmental development programmes which support the sustainability of the Ballyhoura area.

This ethos of partnership and collaboration is central to the delivery of all programmes, projects and initiatives, and enables Ballyhoura Development to act as a lead, enabler, initiator, facilitator or partner in a variety of local, regional, national and international projects which promote and support local development.

Ballyhoura Development recognises that this strongly collaborative approach reduces control, but believes that it adds value, by building local ownership and connecting communities around shared interests, priorities and development.

This process of partnership and collaboration enables coordination with other stakeholders to raise awareness, improve knowledge, build capacity and increase participation of clients, funders and stakeholders in inclusive processes where communities are empowered to make their own decisions and to contribute to and influence policy.

Every effort has been made to acknowledge these partnerships throughout this website, as they apply to programmes, projects and initiatives being delivered.  If you would like to find out more about how Ballyhoura Development works with particular stakeholders, please contact us.
