Workplace Language Skills Course in Kilmallock Ballyhoura Development CLG is delighted to invite participants to join an upcoming Workplace Language Skills Course in Kilmallock, delivered as part of the MAP Ireland – Migrant Apprenticeship Pathways project. Designed for people from a migrant background, this practical five-week course aims to help participants build confidence using English in workplace and job-seeking situations. The programme focuses on developing communication skills that support employment, career progression and integration into the Irish workplace. Rather than a traditional classroom setting, the course will be practical, interactive and participant-focused. Participants will learn through conversation, curiosity and active engagement, with plenty of opportunities to speak, ask questions, take part in discussions and work collaboratively with others. Throughout the course, participants will explore topics including: Workplace communication skills Interview preparation Discussing their CV and work experience Understanding Irish workplace culture Building confidence when using English in professional settings The course is most suitable for people who already have a basic level of English and would like to improve their confidence communicating in workplace environments.
