Charleville Community & Family Support

Battview Matters is a Community and Family Support Project based in Charleville, which seeks to work with the local community to enhance the quality of life of residents of Batt Donegan Place and Hillview Drive Estates.

The project is a collaboration between Ballyhoura Development, Cork County Council and Respond. The project runs from the community building in Hillview Drive Estate, Charleville, and delivers family support and social inclusion initiatives in the community.

All programmes are designed in consultation with local residents and reflect the most pressing needs identified by the residents. Current examples include a homework club for young children, a parent support group, community enhancement and integration activities.

The Battview Matters Project regularly publishes a newsletter outlining current programmes, events, news, and training opportunities available in the wider Charleville area.

For further information, or to find out about upcoming workshops, courses, or activities, please contact Kate McKenna at [email protected] or Chris Osborne at [email protected].
