Ballyhoura Development have launched the Community Small Project Service, which is now available to community groups in the Ballyhoura Region.

What is the Community Small Project Service?

The Community Small Project Service is designed to help communities clean up neglected spaces or assist with one-off projects within their area.

The Community Small Project Service team offer the following services:

• Enhancement of local areas
• General clearout of community buildings 
• Strimming
• Hedge cutting
• Power washing
• Painting outdoor areas

There are two teams covering the area, based out of Cappamore & Kilfinane. The maximum amount of time spent on a job is two & a half days.

Application process

1. After submitting an application, the RSS/Tús supervisor will meet with the community contact to assess the job.
2. Once the job is accepted, it will be set up on the system and assigned to a team for completion.
3. A community group member must be available to sign off on work on day of completion.
