Discover the Wonders of Ireland's Native Landscape

Part of the Ballyhoura Farmers Health & Wellbeing Network

Join us for an inspiring Nature & Biodiversity Talk exploring the rich natural heritage of Ireland's countryside and the important role nature plays in supporting both environmental sustainability and our own health and wellbeing.

Delivered by John Scanlon, a member of Ballyhoura Development CLG's Green Team with a background in horticulture, this engaging talk will introduce participants to Ireland's native trees, hedgerows, wildflowers and pollinators. You'll discover practical ways to encourage biodiversity while learning how spending time in nature can reduce stress, improve mental wellbeing and strengthen connections within our rural communities.

The same talk will be delivered in two locations, allowing participants to choose the venue that best suits them.
