Do you wonder what lives along the banks of and beneath the waters of the River Shannon?

Are you curious about the other creatures you share Castleconnell with?

This family-friendly river walk will allow you to explore these questions and much more!

It will involve a short walk along the picturesque banks of the river Shannon, stopping along the way to learn about the various habitats that are present and the wonderful plants and animals which we share the Shannon with.

There will be lots of chances to look, listen, explore and ask questions. This family-friendly river walk event will be led by Albert Nolan, who has over 30 years of experience engaging with groups and schools around biodiversity and wildlife.

Interested?

The river walk will take place on Thursday, 22nd of June, from 7pm - 8pm - meet at Ferry Playground Car Park in Castleconnell.
