Paediatric First Aid Training

Paediatric First Aid Training is a free 3-hour training programme for parents, guardians, childminders, & childcare professionals.

This course is for those who wish to gain an understanding of First Aid that is required in looking after children. It is aimed at parents, childminders and anyone looking after children professionally or otherwise.

Gaining the knowledge to deal with injuries will give participants the practical skills in first aid that are required in both routine and emergency situations.

Course Content:

The contents of this First Aid Programme include: 

• Primary Assessment, Secondary Assessment, SAMPLE history, Recovery position.
• CPR & AED
• Choking
• Poisoning
• Burns & Scalds
• Anaphylactic Shock
• Fractures

This course will take place on Thursday 23rd November from 6.30pm - 9.30pm at The Millennium Centre, Caherconlish, Co Limerick
