Tom has over 25 years of working with start-up and small businesses as a trainer and mentor. He has advised start-ups in all business sectors and is passionate about promoting entrepreneurship as a viable career option for everyone. From his many years of experience working with thousands of businesses, he provides a practical and common sense approach to avoiding or reducing  the challenges that face many businesses. He works with individuals on developing business models that will be effective, efficient and profitable based on the least amount of effort possible.

• Pricing methods for all businesses - cost based pricing, competitive pricing, value based pricing and promotional pricing.
• Understanding your costs and knowing what profit you need to generate.
• Dealing with the imposter syndrome - value your time, your skills, experience, knowledge, quality of your product etc.
• If your customer cannot afford it - they are not your customer - identifying market segments that value what you are offering and are willing to pay.
• Focus on quality, higher prices rather than lower prices and high volume.
• Comparing your business to the right competitor - get out of the race to the bottom.
• Working smarter and not harder.
