Mindfulness Course in Cappamore Support for individuals in the community who want to practice mindfulness techniques to relax the body & mind to aid in reducing stress and support positive mental health. Although we are often unaware of the power of our thinking, it has a profound effect on how we live our lives, as well as our mental and emotional health. What's Involved? This non-certified FREE 14-week course introduces learners to mindfulness and the benefits of being aware of the moment as it unfolds without judgement and understanding the mind/body connection. It covers the practice of mindfulness and breathing techniques for relaxation and shows learners how they can use mindfulness in everyday life The course explores the connection between the mind and body, demonstrating how our thoughts, emotions, and physical responses influence one another. Learners will discover how mindfulness can help them: Recognise stress triggers. Respond more calmly to challenging situations. Develop healthier patterns to thinking and behaviour. Participants will be introduced to a range of simple mindfulness practices, including breathing techniques, body awareness exercises, and relaxation strategies that can be incorporated into daily routines The course also examines how mindfulness can enhance focus, improve resilience, support emotional regulation, and promote a greater sense of balance in both personal and professional settings What You’ll Achieve: By the end of the course, learners will have developed practical skills and techniques that they can apply in everyday life to manage stress, improve concentration, support mental wellbeing, and cultivate a greater appreciation of the present moment. No previous experience of mindfulness is required, making this course suitable for anyone interested in developing practical tools to support their health and wellbeing.
