Participants will gain a better understanding of apprenticeship requirements, application processes, available supports, and the steps involved in accessing these career pathways in Ireland. What Will Be Covered? A representative from the apprenticeship programmes will provide an overview of both apprenticeships and explain: What apprenticeships are and how they work Entry requirements and eligibility criteria The structure and duration of the programmes Qualifications gained upon completion Career opportunities within the transport and logistics sectors How to apply and find an employer sponsor Supports available to apprentices Participants will learn about the Transport Operations & Commercial Driving Apprenticeship, which combines paid employment with practical training in commercial driving, transport operations, warehousing, and distribution, while working towards a recognised qualification. The session will also introduce the Logistics Associate Apprenticeship, which prepares apprentices for careers in supply chain management, transport planning, logistics operations, and distribution services.
