Ballyhoura Development is delighted to be hosting a series of information workshops across this year exploring the biodiversity of the Ballyhoura area. The series includes information sessions, short field trips and practical workshops; indoors, outdoors and online.

The first set of workshops took place from February to April and focused on food production, soil and planting in Ballyhoura.
The next set of workshops will be taking place in June and July and will focus on a Water Theme:
By attending any or all of the series, you can expect an opportunity to explore the local area and come away equipped with a stronger knowledge of the Biodiversity of Ballyhoura. You will be empowered to take steps at home and within your community to protect nature.
This series will assist in achieving the targets of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 15 – Life on Land.
